Plan Your Prayer

About the Prayer Planner

The Prayer Planner checks whether you can reach a Doha prayer on time. It subtracts your travel time and preparation time from the selected prayer's adhan time and compares the result to the current time. All five daily prayers for today and tomorrow are available, pulled from the same Aladhan data (Qatar method, method 10) used across this site.

The calculation runs entirely in your browser. No location, travel time, or preparation time you enter is sent to our server. This makes the tool instant and private, useful for checking before you leave home, work, or a meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Enter your travel time and preparation time in minutes, pick a prayer, then check the result. The tool subtracts both times from that prayer's adhan time in Doha to find your latest safe departure time, and tells you whether you can still make it.

No. All calculations run in your browser using JavaScript. Only today and tomorrow's prayer times, already public data, are loaded from the page. Your travel time and preparation time are never transmitted or stored on our server.

Preparation time covers wudu (ablution), changing clothes if needed, and any other steps before you leave to pray. Most people need 5 to 10 minutes. Add extra if you are praying at a mosque and want time to find parking or a spot in the row.

You can still pray the prayer as soon as you are able, since most prayer windows last 90 minutes or more (Maghrib is the exception at a fixed 90 minutes). The planner only checks whether you can be there for the adhan itself, not whether the window has fully closed.
